Learning to Give Feedback

The Year 5's in Mrs Hooker's class used the Padlet app to access a Padlet wall created by Mrs Hooker to provide feeback to their friends. The students did a walk through of their Bee Bot mats they created as a Design and Technologies project and used feedback protocols to write their feedback statements to a friend about their mat. The students thoroughly enjoyed the ability to provide and receive feedback, with some eager to alter their designs based on this.

Using Padlet to Establish Prior Knowledge

The Year 3's in Mrs Wood's class used Padlet app to access Mrs Wood's Padlet wall - A KWL chart about solids, liquids and gases - as this is the topic they are studying in Science. The students were able to record what they Know about this topic and then use this to develop questions about what they Want to know as a whole class. After exploring and learning about the topic the students will be able to add what they have Learned to the same Padlet wall and reflect on how far they have progressed.
