The students in Mrs Scott's class learned to use online resources, the Camera app and Pic Collage app to demonstrate what they know about the Earth, sun and moon to begin their Earth Science unit of study. The students learned to search for copyright free images using a Google Advanced Search with appropriate usage rights and took photos from books of things they know using the Camera app. Further, the students imported their images into a Pic Collage poster where they were able to develop appropriately sized headings and sub-headings that also had a colour scheme informed by viewing the opposite sides of a colour wheel. The posters will be displayed and used to compare with at the end of the unit of learning.
