Positives and Negatives

A group formulating their positive and negative effects of mandatory detention to share out on the Padlet wall.
The students in Mr Hort's Year 6 class worked efficiently in small groups to collectively develop a class list of positive and negative effects of mandatory detention. All groups discussed their roles e.g. iPad touch typer and researcher etc.
This followed from a formative assessment that required all students to contribute an explanation of the difference between a refugee and migrant, individually on the Padlet board.
The versatility of Padlet as a collaborative tool, formative assessment tool and reflection tool was obvious.
