Collaborating, Sharing and Communicating in Year 5

Collaboratively developing questions on a Padlet wall and researching answers using Google Advanced Search 

In Mrs Adam's Year 5 class, the students discovered the ability to collaboratively ask questions about a new topic "What is NAIDOC Week?". They developed the 'Know' and 'Want to Know' of a KWL chart on the Padlet wall with their iPads. Then in a group they discussed which questions they wanted to know the answer to and began researching using Google advanced search.
