As part of their work on developing characters for story genres the Year 5's in Mrs Hooker's class were shown how to use their book work to create a character in Puppet Pals HD app. The students drew an image of how their character may look; took a photo of this using the Camera app on the iPads; then they cut an outline of their character to place in the character selection board of the app. The final step will be to create a relevant background (referred to as backdrop in the app) for their story to then be able to create it as a short video.
