The Year 3's in Mrs Woods' class have been capturing the growth story of some caterpillars that were donated to the class. Since they arrived as adults the students have been observing their growth by taking pictures of them on a regular basis with the iPads. Also, they have researched the ways to take care of them. To summarize their observations the students learned how to create a Keynote presentation to write their observations and match it to their photo media. The presentation will be presented to other students to teach them about Caterpillars. The students really enjoyed using vocabulary such as 'our caterpillars' and taking ownership of the presentation.
